Prize #10 - 6x6" Sampler package of Dashing Along DSP - Lmtd. Edition. Used in today's project -
~*~*~*~*~
Sharing a very quick and easy treat wrap today - these are fun to make and a great way to share a little treat. These are our neighbor gifts this year - so made up 10 of them. Each one contains a package of these Krispy Kreme Coffee Thins - I love that the colors on the package are also Christmas colors. So all we are making is a quick wrap that they slide right out of.
To make this wrap I took a piece of 6x6" Cherry Cobbler and folded it around the box to get the placement of my score marks. I used 12x12" cardstock so I could get four out of one sheet. For this little sleeve I scored at 1 1/8", 1 1/2", 4" and 4 3/8". But you could do the same with any candy/treat and get your own score measurements. Then I cut a 1 1/2" belly band out of the Dashing Along DSP, and a cup with another sheet from that DSP using the Coffee Cups framelits. I added the whipped cream and a vellum cover - plus a little heart. These were punched from a retired punch shown - but you could add any little embellishment.
The little wish at the bottom is from the "First Frost" set and is actually a miniature card that opens and I added my little wish for a Merry Christmas. These wraps would be perfect for Stocking Stuffer candy also. Have fun!
