It has been a CRAZY couple of weeks - I can't remember the last time I didn't post for two weeks - so this is weird. First - time just goes by crazy fast!! But in the past two weeks - I've had sick kids, sick grandkids and sick ME!!
Also, it's been the last two weeks of school at the college - so that means a tremendous amount of paperwork for me to process in my office. Normally I have a person to help me one day a week (she's been laid off as of July 1st) but she's been out with some serious health issues - so everything has fallen to me. (But E - I am seriously praying for you!!) We've had birthdays and Mother's Day to celebrate. During the last two weeks - two friends have passed away; the husband of another friend passed away; and two others are very, very seriously ill with cancer. Plus - there are been some significant stressful other events that have happened - that I'm not going to share much here - but needless to say all of this has taken it's toll on me.
But ----- those two weeks are over, and tomorrow is a new day. One of my favorite sayings is "Nobody can go back and start a new beginning - but anyone can start today and make a new ending."

I know where you are coming from Maureen. I feel like I got sucked into a vortex this past Spring and the time disappeared without me seeing it. I'm trying to get back on top again too and get my posts coming regularly. It's been overwhelming. Hope all the illness and sadness that has befallen you is behind you and much sunshine and happiness follows.
