Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Lustrous Leaves

 

Happy Sunday - Time to share another great project and free tutorial!  I am so looking forward to fall - I hate to wish time away - but these temperatures and humidity are brutal.  So fall leaves keeps me happy - and how gorgeous is that Softly Woven 3D embossing folder.  Hope you like it as much as I do! Lustrous Leaves

·       Cardstock and Paper: Early Espresso Cardstock (CS) (119686); Early Espresso 12” x 12” Two-Tone Cardstock (166668); Gold Foil (132622); Basic White Cardstock (166780);

·       Stamp Pads: Early Espresso Classic Stamp Pad(166648); Golden Glow Classic Stamp Pad (167676), Pecan Pie Classic Stamp Pad (161665);

·       Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Stampin’ Hot Foil System (170009); Lustrous Leaves Bundle (170559); Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder (168466); Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Roll (170066); Linen Thread (104199); Blending Brush (153611)

·       Miscellaneous: Dewdrops (167748); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Multipurpose Glue (110755); Paper Trimmer (152392);

 Measurements:

 ·       Early Espresso Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4"

·       Espresso Two-Tone Cardstock:  4” x 5 1/4”

·       Gold Foil:   1/2" x 5 1/4”

·       Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil:  4” x 5”

·       Basic White Card Stock: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"; 1/2” x 4”

 Instructions:

 1.    Using Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to emboss the Early Espresso Two-Tone Cardstock with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder.  Use a sanding block to distress the embossing.

2.    Fold Card Base in half and adhere the embossed layer to the card base.

3.    Using the Stampin’ Hot Foil System according to the directions included in the system, hot foil the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil die and the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil to the Basic White Cardstock.

4.    Use a blending brush, color the Lustrous Leaves Decorative Mask #1 with Golden Glow Classic ink.  Repeat with Masks #2 & #3 in the Golden Glow ink.  Color Mask #4 with Pecan Pie Classic ink and a clean blending brush.

5.    Use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to die cut the Hot Foiled/blended Lustrous Leaves with the coordinating Lustrous Leaves die cut.

6.    Banner ends of Gold Foil and adhere to left side of card about 1” from fold.  Adhere leaves of choice to Gold Foil with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.    Ink Greeting on Basic White CS with Early Espresso Classic Stamp Pad.  Banner right side and adhere to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8.    Tie a knot in Linen Thread and secure to leaf stem with a Mini Glue Dot. 

9.    Embellish card with three Dewdrop Embellishments.
