SF 2020-March Congrats, Grads, Brides and Babies Blog Hop

Be sure to hop through all the blogs on the list for tons of  wonderful inspiration!

I don't know if you are like me - but once the Spring mini comes out - I tend to forget about all of the amazing products in the Annual Catalog.  So today that is where my focus is - the Noble Peacock Suite - it is amazingly beautiful and perfect for a special congratulations card.  So I decided to make a split panel card - using the Noble Peacock Specialty paper, the Royal Peacock set and the beautiful Noble Peacock rhinestones.
Below you can see the card open -
And below are the measurements for the different panels to make this card -
I decided to just make a simple gift card holder to go with it - using many of the same products - I started with a piece of the DSP in Old Olive - 5 1/2" x 3 5/8" and scored at 2 3/8" and 4 7/8".
Then I added our tear and tap to the panels as shown below  -
After folding it up - I added a sentiment, ribbon and three of the peacock feathers cut out - as well as some gems.
I punched the open end with a 1" circle punch half way to give an easy access for pulling the card out -
And here it is all done -
Perfect way to congratulate someone special for an accomplishment you are proud of!

Once again, thank you for stopping by my blog.   I hope you enjoyed these projects and got some inspiration for creating something wonderful of your own.  I would love it, if you would leave me a comment below and stop back soon.  Don't forget to click through on each name below to see even more amazing Posts with a "congratulations" theme.  See you soon with more ideas!  ~Maureen
