Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Farmhouse Florals - August 2025

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop!  I am so excited to be a part of this team of hoppers sharing alternative designs for each month's Paper Pumpkin kit.  This month's kit is all about the August 2025 "Farmhouse Florals" kit!!  Hopefully what we show will inspire you.  Be sure to hop all the way through to see what this amazing team has come up with!
~*~*~*~*~

AUGUST: Farmhouse Florals
~*~*~*~*~*~
Here are the alternatives I came up with this month.  Hope you like them.
My first alternative simply uses elements of the kit.  I folded back 2 1/8" of the front of the plan card base for form a "Z" fold card.  Then I stamped the blue pattern  repeating along the top and bottom of the folded back section and inside of card.  Then I used the window element to finish the front of the card.

I also fussy cut the Teapot image from one of the other layers and popped it up on the front of the card to give it a little more dimension.  Then added my sentiment.

My second alternative is another simple fun-fold - an easel card.  For this card I used my knife attachment for the Take Your Pick tool, and cut around the top part of the typewriter and flowers.  Then folded at the top of the dark blue portion of the base.  To cover the cut out portion - I added a piece of Summer splash both on the front and inside.  I added some of the border stamp in Summer Splash and added a little popped up flower to hold the easel up as it stands.  I love the torn edge of the paper you can stamp your sentiment on and insert into the typewriter - super cute.

And of course, I had to stamp the envelopes -
Then finally - using a plain part of one of the bases, I made this cute little 2 3/4" x 3" gift card.  I stamped the teacup and little flower border from the stamp sets.
I die-cut a circle from Secret Sea CS, using the add-on dies that coordinate.  I love how it turned out - would be so cut to give with any tea related gift.
Circle of Seasons Dies Add-On #167277 —available to Paper Pumpkin subscribers, only while supplies last! Coordinates with the July, August and September 2025 kits.

I hope you've enjoyed these alternative ideas.  Now be sure to hop through the rest to get some more great inspiration.  Don't forget to leave a comment, as we'd love to hear what you think.

ICS Blog Hop - August 2025 - My Favorite Bundle!

Welcome to our Inspire - Create - Share Blog Hop for August 2025!  This month each of us are sharing our favorite bundle (or at least one of my favorites.)  For me - I chose Impressions Abloom!
#165611 Impressions Abloom - $48.50 (USD)

So - check out why I like this bundle, and then hop on through all the other blogs listed to see which ones are their favs!
~*~*~*~*~
So for me - I can NEVER have too many flower sets - and this was a must have for me as soon as I saw it.  I think it is because it is such a versatile set.  I created a couple totally different looks with this one set. This first is using the set in a two-step stamping technique as it was designed.  By stamping each layer of the image in a different color you great a great image.
Here it is close up - and look at those adorable little flowers the dies cut out.
Then I went a different direction with a faux water color look - by stamping the lined image once; spritzing with water; and then after it dried stamping again.
I really love this look; and gave it more personality by splattering colored spots with my Stampin' Write markers.  I also love the fun colors in this one.
And there is so much more you can do with this bundle, by simple using the dies; or stamping just the bold images; or just the lines ones; or coloring ------ you are only limited by your imagination!

~*~*~*~*~*~

 Hope you liked this ideas!
Now, be sure to follow this hop through, and see what other creative ideas this group of talented women came up with.
