Hi all - if you want creative posts - I will try to get some in - but over the next 10 days I'm going to be posting about the awesome Stampin' Up! Maui Elite trip I was able to earn thanks to all my wonderful and supportive customers and team. I did this for Greece two years ago, and still love those posts - so please - bear with me.
Day 1 - May 15, 2021
Paul and I got up at 4am Prescott AZ time yesterday, to water our plants inside and out, have a light breakfast, double check everything, and be ready for the shuttle to arrive around 6am. Fortunately we both slept pretty well last night so all was good. Got down to Phoenix, and I had arranged for a wheelchair. Because of the severe back issues I've been having, it was a recommendation from my Dr. (and a few friends) that I not try speeding through the airport pulling luggage and carrying items. What a life saving tip that was - the airport staff at both airports were just amazing, and I feel like this saved me from a day of hellish travel. So we're on the plane ready for a 6 hour and 50 min flight -
What a long day -plane had every seat full - we had to wear a mask the entire time - only 1 drink and some cookies and no meals to buy. I did not plan well for that. But it was worth it. We got to the resort, and got checked in, as we walked to our room we were just amazed by how beautiful it was. The next couple pictures are from the door side of our room.
I was thinking that was going to be our awesome view - but stay tuned. When we entered the room - we were welcomed by this spread of welcome items from Stampin' Up!Here it is all opened up -
I get excited about the little things - just look at these great products in the bathroom. And they smell oh so wonderful!
I thought maybe those views out our front door were going to be the best - but oh no! Just look at these beautiful pics from off our balcony!
My back was really hurting in the night, so I actually slept awhile in a chair on the balcony - warm breezes, no bugs - it was heaven. By the time we got to the hotel we were starving (did not realize there was no food on the flight; could not even buy any). We found a little cafe for a quick late lunch. Paul inhaled his Turkey wrap before I could get a picture - but here is my first Poke bowl with crispy fried shrimp - it was delish!
Then we walked just a bit through the main area of the hotel - Later - SU! had a boxed dinner we could pick up - sandwiches, ahi, quinoa salad, chips, drinks, cookies, brownies and more - so we had a late dinner out on our balcony and just relaxed. Looking forward to Day 2! ~Maureen~*~*~*~*~
