Norwegian Fjords SU Incentive Trip - Day 4

I just returned from our amazing incentive trip - a cruise through the Norwegian Fjords!!*  As I do every year - I will be posting a series of posts this week sharing my experience.  I do this as both a travel journal for myself - and to thank all of you who helped me earn this trip.  Enjoy!

This is what we saw outside when we got up - so much beauty - it is breathtaking.

Little cooler out - had to have a jacket on the balcony and a blanket over my lap - but not awful and even though cloudy - no rain.  After a bit out on the balcony we headed down for breakfast - today we both had the salmon and cheese omelets - so yummy!!!

After breakfast we pulled into Geiranger - our plan was to get off an enjoy this port - 

But the weather had other ideas - after an hour or two of them trying to get the walk way out and then thinking they could transport us by small boats - we had to abandon this port.  The winds were too high and the waves too choppy - so we headed back out of port.  Because of this though, they slowed us down and spent a bunch of time by the amazing waterfalls - this really was breathtaking.

The one below is called Seven Sisters - as it has seven tributaries.  Again we spent a good hour out on the balcony just enjoying.

After this we had lunch, and found this adorable little ducky on our table.  It's a "thing" on cruises now where people hide duckies.  You can keep them, or snap a picture and leave or re-hide.  We just left him for the next people to find. 

then headed over to the Stampin' Up! meeting place again.  Was able to spin for a prize - I think it was a SU! winter scarf this day.  Then I was able to get a picture with my new friend Diane Alberts - I'm facebook friends with her downline, Robin and she hooked us up.  Love meeting new people on these trips!

In the afternoon we went up to the buffet and enjoyed a latte or two - people watched and checked out the scenery.  Then a short nap before dinner.  When we got back to the room this was the magnet left on my door by my upline :)

At dinner was able to snap a quick picture of my friend from Maui, Lola, and myself - again, love reconnecting!

Then tonight I remembered to get a picture of our dinner group - the same people each night are assigned to your table - which really gives you a chance to get to know one another.  What a great group we had -

Back was Debra and David; Abbie and Dick; Front was Dan and Lisa Marie; and of course myself and Paul.  Took it easy in the evening after a great meal ending with creme brulee - I read and Paul went and listened to some music again.  I caught this picture before bed - the seas continued to be choppy and the boat rocked and lulled us to sleep.
