My favorite coloring tools - are our alcohol Blends - they go on so smoothly, and as the name suggests, they blend flawlessly. They are just perfect for coloring this DSP.
So for the bagalope - I used an envelope that opens on the end - but any envelope will work - while it is flat I scored in 3/4" on each side and the bottom through both layers of the envelope. Then slip your hand inside the envelope and push in the sides making a stand up bag - flatten the bottom and glue down the little flaps on each side - and voila - a cute little package to present a little gift.
For this one, I fussy cut the flowers out of the foil design paper and colored it with Stampin' Up! blends. Then popped it up on the layers with the sentiment. I also punched a couple holes in the top and threaded some ribbon through to hold it all shut.
Below is the notecard I designed to go with it. Same basic layering - cut the flowers out and colored with blends and added them to the front of the card for this elegant look. The foil gives it the bling it needs with no additional embellishments needed. Add any sentiment you like to finish it off. Flowers are just so universal - you can use for most anything. Then I took an additional strip of the paper and colored it to match, then adhered it to the back flap of my envelope - for a beautiful finish! Would love to receive something this pretty in my mail box - how about you?
Here is a close up of the flowers I was coloring at the top of the blog. I just think they are lovely and will be adding them to some additional projects soon.
Hope you enjoyed my project - now be sure to "hop" on through the rest of the blogs on the list to see all their great ideas. Before moving on, be sure to leave a comment - they make my day!

What a fabulous trio of creations. Your gift bag is stunning. I must remember to decorate more envelopes as I go instead of leaving them to the last minute. Thanks for sharing x
Thank you for so many ideas! Love them all and will have to try them soon!
I love, love these papers Maureen and great colouring in on your trio of projects x
This paper is fantastic. What is the colour of the ribbon? It's a card / pouch that I love. THE kind of cover I'd like to receive. Laughing out loud
Mai - it is the SU Old Olive/Pretty Peacock reversible ribbon - so pretty!
