For years, and I mean years, I have been saving corks from the wine Paul and I have. Some of our nicest vacations are wine-tasting up the coast of California - so the corks just seemed special. But Paul hated having bags of them lying around. So Heidi took a bunch of them to see what she could do with them - and lookie what she made me for Christmas with them. It's our last initial in corks, mounted on a huge beautiful frame and backing.
Here is a side view so you can see the relief on it a bit more. It is beautiful, and a wonderful way for us to display those corks. We'll hang it in our kitchen/family room area. Love it!! Gonna see what else we can do with corks.Pages

Amazing Heidi! I have a lot of corks laying around and you have just inspired me with what to do with them!
Neat ! I know of people making trivets out of them to set their hot dishes on.
