The second way was one I never tried before - but I found a very similar card on Pinterest and just loved the look. It is using the Big Shot to die cut an image twice (once for the outline, and once for the inner pieces) and then paste each piece into the correct slot - for this amazing inlaid look -
I used the Water Lily dies from Sale-a-bration as they are so elegant. The Happy Birthday is from another Sale-a-bration set - Happy Birthday to You! After cutting out the inlaid pieces, I had this beautiful colored water lily frame left - so had to add it to the inside of my card -
