Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Bright Skies

 
It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial!  If you had a chance to watch my FB Live on Tuesday (facebook.com/crazystampinglady) I shared a fun bright card made with the Bright Skies stamp and dies.  Today's tutorial is another fun card made with the same - so bright and cheery.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

Bright Skies

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Bright Skies (162787)

·       Card Stock and Paper: 2024-2026 In Color Assortment (163806); Basic White (159276); Smoky Slate (131202); Old Olive (100702); Unbounded Beauty DSP (163372)

·       Stamp Pads: Petunia Pop (163811); Peach Pie (163810); Summer Splash (163809)

·       Tools: Bright Skies Dies (162793)

·       Miscellaneous: Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

 Measurements:

 ·       Basic White: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4” for horizontal base; scraps for die cutting clouds/sun

·       Peach Pie: 5” x 3 ¾”; scraps for tulips

·       Smoky Slate: scraps for clouds

·       Old Olive: scraps for flower stems

·       Petunia Pop: scraps for flowers

·       Shy Shamrock: 1 ¼” x 5” for die cutting grass

·       Unbounded Beauty DSP: 4 ¾” x 3 ½”

 Instructions:

 1.    Adhere your large Peach Pie rectangle to the base centered and adhere your layer of DSP centered on that.  Using Summer Splash ink stamp the rain drops coming down.

2.    Stamp the sun image with Peach Pie on Basic White and die cut.  Additional die cutting: 1 medium and 1 large cloud from Basic White; 2 small clouds from Smoky Slate; 3 tulips from Peach Pie; 2 flowers from Petunia Pop; 5 flower stems from Old Olive and Grass strip from Shy Shamrock.

3.    Stamp your sentiment on the largest Basic White cloud to the left using Petunia Pop ink; then cut off the excess of the cloud on the right as shown in picture.

4.    Adhere your die cuts to the card as shown; popping up one Smoky Slate cloud and the larger Basic White cloud with the sentiment on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5.    Add your Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sun and rain as shown in picture.
