Instructions:
1. Score the Granny Apple Green CS piece along the 6-1/2” edge at 2-1/4”; fold and burnish.
2. Glue a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of
Basic White CS to the center inside back of the card base.
3. Stamp the Sweet Sorbet CS
piece randomly with seed images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Glue to the center of a 2” x 5-1/4” piece of
Basic White CS. Mount to the center of
the front flap of the card base.
4. Stamp a sentiment of choice
in the center of a 2-3/4” square piece of Basic White CS, favored toward the
right edge. Glue the white square to the
center of the Basic Black 3” square. Wrap a 11” piece of ribbon around the left end
of the square; tie a knot in the top corner. Mount the left back side of the square over
the center right edge of the front card base flap.
5. Stamp two (2) half-size
watermelon slices, one (1) quarter size watermelon slice, and the top 1” of one
(1) quarter size watermelon slice in Sweet Sorbet ink on Thick White CS. Stamp
below each piece with coordinating rind stamp image in Shaded Spruce ink. Hand-trim each watermelon piece.
6. Stamp one (1) full
watermelon and five (5) leaf images in Shaded Spruce ink on Thick White CS. If
desired, color over each image with Stampin’ Blends. Hand-trim each image. Note that three of the
leaf images have been trimmed to separate the small and large leaves.
7. Decorate the front and
inside of the card base with stamped watermelon and leaf images as shown. The
full watermelon, the leaf and quarter watermelon slice at the top of the front
card flap are mounted Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Make sure that the half-slice watermelon image on the inside of the card
does not show on the front when the card is closed.
8. Randomly add two green In
Color Pearls on the inside bottom right corner and one to the left of the leaf
in the top right corner on the inside of the card base.
