It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial!   Christmas is popping up everywhere -and for sure it's time to get those cards made.  So here is an adorable easy card to add to your stash.  Have fun!

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: So Very Merry (162345)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Cherry Cobbler CS (119685); Very Vanilla CS (101650); Distressed Gold 12”x12” (159237)

·       Stamp Pads: Versamark Pad (102283); Cherry Cobbler (47083)

·       Tools: Stylish Shapes Dies (159183); Gorgeously Made Dies (161202); 2 3/8” Circle Punch (161354)

·       Miscellaneous: Gold & Vanilla 3/8” Satin Edged Ribbon (159555); Gold & Silver 1/8” Trim Combo Pack (161633); Basics Embossing Powders (155554); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Heat Tool (129053); Blends: Real Red (154889); Lost Lagoon (161680), Petal Pink (154893); Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder (162026); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813)

 Measurements:

 ·       Cherry Cobbler - 7 ¼” x 5 ½”, scored at 3” on longer side, 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”

·       Very Vanilla - 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”, 2 ¾” x 5 ¼”

·       Distressed Gold 12x12 DSP - 5 ½” x 1 1/8”

 Instructions:

1.    Fold card base on score line.

2.    Emboss front card flap using Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.

3.    Die-cut Distressed Gold strip in half, using Gorgeously Made Dies.

4.    Adhere ½ of this strip to card front flap right edge, and the other strip to back right side of card.

5.    Stamp Santa image using Versamark Ink on square Very Vanilla panel.

6.    Sprinkle Gold Embossing Powder on this and emboss using Heat Tool. This will give the image a “stained glass” look.

7.    Color Santa image using Blends listed above. You can get a more shaded look by coloring the light first, then adding a darker color below where you just colored.

8.    Let it dry a bit and then go over the harsh line between light and dark, with the lighter Blend again.

9.    Punch Santa out using 2 3/8” Circle Punch.

10. Adhere Santa to Stitched Shape Cherry Cobbler circle, that has been die-cut.

11. Adhere 3” piece of Gold Trim on the back of the Santa circles using Mini Glue Dot.

12. Adhere this piece to card front, using Dimensionals.

13. Adhere the other loose end of gold rim to back of front flap, using Mini Glue Dot.

14. Adhere Cherry Cobbler ½” Circle on top of the Gold Trim raw edge.

15. Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla panel, using Cherry Cobbler ink.

16. Adhere to inside of card.
