Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Gift of Giving

Gift of Giving

Stamp Sets: Gift of Giving (162075); Rocking Horse (162497)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic White (159276); Poppy Parade (119793); Merry Bold & Bright 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) (161945)

·       Stamp Pads: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (132708); Poppy Parade (147050)

 Measurements:

 ·       Poppy Parade: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”

·       Basic White:  4” x 5 ¼” (cut 2)

·       DSP Fa La La Pattern:  3 ¾” x 5” (note pattern direction)

·       Ribbon: 5 ½”

 Instructions:

 1.    Fold card base on score line to create card.

2.    Cut the largest rectangle and the smallest rectangle from the center of one of the 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White pieces making sure to leave at least ¼” around the outside edges.  This piece will be used as a matting for the front of the card. 

3.    Attach the DSP piece to the matting Basic White piece and attach to the card.

4.    On the largest rectangle die cut, stamp the coffee cup image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Color using the Blends markers.  Use SU500 for the cookie and SU100 for the chocolate chips.

5.    On the small rectangle die cut, stamp the berry sprig using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Color using the Blends markers.

6.    Attach both rectangles to the card front using Dimensionals and overlapping a small amount at the top left.  Attach Silver Festive Pearls as desired.

7.    On the inside 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White piece, stamp Merry Christmas from the Rocking Horse stamp set using Poppy Parade ink.

8.    Stamp the berry sprig using Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the bottom left approximately ¾” up from the bottom.  Color using the Blends markers.

9.    Wrap the ribbon around the Basic White piece approximately ½” up from the bottom and then attach piece to the inside of the card.
