Be sure to hop through all the blogs on the list near the bottom for tons of wonderful inspiration as we create projects that say it with sentiments! ~*~*~*~*~ This month our projects are all about the sentiments. I wanted to make something cute and fun for the Halloween season - and I think these projects fit the bill.
I used the great Bewitching set - which I know seems weird since there are no sentiments. But I've been playing for a couple weeks with it - and just look -
This card really sparkles because the accents are made with the Glitter Washi tape from page 57 of the July - December mini catalog. A much overlooked product. You can place strips of it onto a piece of Basic White and punch it which is awesome. But I needed some fun sentiments - so I pulled them from the Best Witches stamp set. My point being that sometimes you really have to mix and match your sets to get that perfect sentiment - so that's what I did. Then I continued with these same two sets for a fun treat holder -
This is made with the Stars Treat bags - I just slipped a piece of Mango Melody cardstock inside to show through the stars and secured it with with a couple glue dots at the top. The sparkle here is from our Iridescent Rhinestones - I love them as they are rainbowy and pick up the colors around them. So fun!I love both of the sentiments used from the Best Witches set and they pair perfectly with the Bewitching set. Here's a picture of the treat bag from the top filled with some yummy orange candies. These were one of the treats I had for my attendees at a recent Stamp Away retreat. The bag may or may not have been more full when I started crafting tonight lol!
Hope you enjoyed these fun projects and the great sentiments for Halloween.
