My projects today come from the Meant to Be Bundle on page 6 of the SU Occasions catalog. This suite it lovely, and has so many stamp and framelit options - you're just going to love it!
For my treat holder I started with a 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of the All My Love designer series paper. The colors of the DSP are Balmy Blue, Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam with some Crumb Cake thrown in - and these colors are amazing together. I put a strip of Tear Tape along the top back edge of the DSP - you can see a tab hanging over on the right. Then rolled the DSP into a tube securing with the tear tape. (sorry for the blur - but I wanted you to see what I mean)
Next I squished the tube down a bit and punched with my envelope punch board at the 1" mark on each side and each end of the tube. Then tied with the Lovely Lipstick ribbon from the All My Love ribbon combo, inserted a yummy Hershey bar and tied the other end.
Next I stamped a heart and sentiment and layered it on this beautiful die cut heart .
And added it to the top of my treat using dimensionals-
For my card I used many of the same products creating a lovely Valentine. In this picture you can see the base of Lovely Lipstick and the Soft Sea Foam layers look wonderful together. The inter-twined hearts are cut out when I cut out the "You make me Happy" heart above - it frames it during the cutting giving you both pieces to work with; and has beautiful scallops and stitching. The top rectangle layers are popped up over the ribbon using more dimensionals.
Can't wait to give these to someone I love this Valentine's Day!
