So today I'm sharing the second Christmas Card we made at this month's class. It is very traditional, and very "sweet"! I know I've mentioned it before - but I just think it was so smart that Stampin' Up! made the Cookie Cutter Builder punch to work for both Halloween/Fall images and the Christmas images. Makes this punch, and these sets, just that much more desirable. So for this project we used the Gingerbread man from Cookie Cutter Christmas, and stamped him in Crumb Cake and punched out. Then sentiment says it all - would be so nice to pair with a plate of real cookies for a neighbor gift.
Below you can see the dimension we gave this card by the layers of cardstock, DSP, ribbon and twine - as well as popping images up on dimensionals.
And then we added a sprinkle of pearls - they reminded me of the little drops of frosting or the cute little sprinkles you add to cookies, and just seemed appropriate.
Here's hoping this inspired you to break out your Christmas stamps and get busy creating. Christmas is just "3" months away!!
