I am so excited to have been asked to be a guest blogger on this month's hop! The theme this month is HOPE - and it was perfect timing, as I was able to create these projects that will go to a special friend who just found out she has cancer.
I was trying to think of something that would inspire her, and help her on this journey. So I created a card and mini journal set - reminding her that there are going to be good things ahead, and that she has "GOT" this fight!
The card is made using the Stampin' Up! set "You've Got This", as well as Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock. The gems and the flower were colored using Blendabilities alcohol inks. Even though they are not currently available for sale - mine all still work perfectly. My hope is that they will come back some day. I just love the COLOR I got on the flower and am sure it will cheer my friend.
And I was thinking this mini journal could be used to keep a record of her appts, or her health, or just her thoughts along the way.
